Role Details
- Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU experience required
- Minimum 2 years in specialty
- Nurse-to-patient ratios by shift: 1:1, 1:2 for ICU status, 1:3 for stepdown/non-ICU
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- CVICU experience within the last year
- 2 years of CVICU experience
- Pediatrics CVICU experience
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Driver's License

- Signed assignment agreement
- Specialty exam, core competencies, EKG exam, skills checklist, and unit-specific checklist
- NIH certification
- Color vision screening
- Education attestation and onboarding modules
- Cerner test-out
- Badge photo
- MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, TB screening, fit test, health statement, drug screen, background check, EPLS, education verification, employment verification, and confirmation of assignment
