Job Details
- Location: Wichita, Kansas
- Employment type: LTA
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 07:00–19:30
- Schedule notes: Every other weekend; no call
- Unit setting: Level 1 trauma center
- Dress code: Ceil blue scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- Float experience with 2 years of experience
- Float experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- NIH Certification
- MOAB Moderate Risk
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Resume
- At least two professional references
- Skills checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually for the specialty
Onboarding / Compliance
- Color vision screening completed before start and updated every 3 years
- Core competencies completed within one year of start and updated every 3 years
- NIH certification updated yearly for Group A and every 2 years for Group B-F
- EKG exam with passing score of at least 80%; only two attempts allowed; updated every 3 years
- Onboarding education attestation completed after the pre-hire module
- Nursing contract worker onboarding completed onsite
- Nova StatStrip pre-hire modules completed before clearance and annually
- MOAB Moderate Risk de-escalation training
- Cerner test-out with signed attestation
- Badge photo with a forward-facing headshot on a white or blue background, no filters or alterations
