Overview
- Acuity-adaptable brain/spine unit
- Longer contract approved for September start
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 19:00 - 07:30
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
Onboarding / Compliance
- Ascension Pharmacology Exam: minimum 80% score, only 2 attempts allowed, completed prior to start and updated every 3 years
- Ascension Medical Surgical Exam: minimum 80% score, only 2 attempts allowed, completed prior to start and updated every 3 years
- Ascension Color Vision: completed prior to start and updated every 3 years
- Ascension Core Competencies: completed within a year of start, updated every 3 years, minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score
- NIH Certification: updated yearly for Group A and every 2 years for Group B-F
- Ascension EKG Exam: passing score of at least 80%, only two attempts permitted, updated every 3 years
- Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation
- Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding
- Ascension Badge Photo
- COVID-19 vaccine documentation required
- MMR documentation required
- Fit test required for all travelers
- Hepatitis B documentation required
- Influenza vaccine documentation required; exemptions/declinations accepted, with mask required at all times
- Health statement required
- Driver's License/State ID required and must not be expired
- 2 Step PPD or IGRA required
