RN Circulator - Operating room
Overview
- Location: Cedar Park, Texas
- Employment type: LTA
- Shift: 06:30 - 15:00
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- On-call obligation is required
Role Summary
- Experienced RN Circulator needed to support the surgical team
- Responsible for coordinating patient care throughout the surgical process, preparing the operating room with necessary equipment and supplies, verifying patient identity and procedure, maintaining a safe and sterile environment, monitoring the patient during surgery, documenting care, and advocating for patient safety
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- 3 years of Operating Room experience
- Operating Room experience within the last year
- Experience in a Procedural Area setting
- Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start
- License/certificate verification within 30 days prior to start
- Resume/profile
- At least 2 professional references
- Ascension Skills Checklist completed within 1 year of start and updated annually for the specialty

- BLS, AHA
- Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days prior to start and updated annually
- COVID-19 vaccination
- MMR documentation
- Fit test
- Hepatitis B documentation
- Influenza vaccine or accepted declination

- Driver’s license or state ID
