Job Opportunity: Certified Surgical Technician

Location: Cooperstown, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Overview

• Operating Room (OR) with 12 suites
• Average daily case volume: 25–30 cases
• Primary case types: General Surgery and Orthopedics
• Additional service lines include Plastics, Neuro, Vascular, ENT, GYN, Urology, GI, Pain Management, Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular hybrid cases, and Podiatry

Call Expectations

• Average call frequency: 4–5 shifts per month
• Flexibility required to handle a wide variety of cases while on call

Equipment & Technology

• Extensive inventory across multiple specialties
• Comfort working with a broad range of OR equipment and devices is expected

Role Expectations for Certified Surgical Technicians

• Support multiple service lines as needed
• Maintain a strong foundational OR skill set to safely support a variety of case types
• May be required to take call

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
