Role Summary

  • Operates stationary radiographic equipment in a Heart and Vascular Center to produce diagnostic images.
  • Performs X-ray procedures, fluoroscopy, vascular procedures, cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures, and other special procedures.
  • Works independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Requires strong patient care and patient satisfaction skills.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Iowa
  • Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
  • 2 years of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
  • Cath Lab Technologist experience
  • Experience with Epic
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Driver's License

Relevant Skills

  • Knowledge of general anatomy, technical factors, CR and DR imaging fundamentals, radiation protection, and basic computer skills.

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
