Role Summary
- Operates stationary radiographic equipment in a Heart and Vascular Center to produce diagnostic images.
- Performs X-ray procedures, fluoroscopy, vascular procedures, cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures, and other special procedures.
- Works independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Requires strong patient care and patient satisfaction skills.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Iowa
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- 2 years of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
- Cath Lab Technologist experience
- Experience with Epic
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Driver's License
Relevant Skills
- Knowledge of general anatomy, technical factors, CR and DR imaging fundamentals, radiation protection, and basic computer skills.
