Job Description

• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
• Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Provide high-quality care to Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, and Telemetry patient populations.
• Positions available on Medical Surgical Unit and Telemetry Unit.
• Must self-study telemetry strips upon acceptance; a basic dysrhythmia test will be administered during the first week and must be passed to work on the Telemetry/Med Surg unit.
• ACLS certification required.
• Estimated work week: 36 hours with possible overtime.

Required Certifications and Licenses

• BLS (AHA or ARC acceptable) – Required for onboarding
• ACLS – Required for onboarding
• Professional Nursing License – Primary source verification required within 30 days of start (use BON & NURSYS for RNs)
• Driver's License or State ID – Unexpired government-issued photo ID

Required Health and Safety Compliance

• COVID-19 Vaccine (declination accepted)
• MMR (2 vaccines or positive titer; 1 booster or declination accepted if low/equivocal)
• Fit Test (completed prior to start; approved mask types specified)
• Hepatitis B (2 vaccines or positive titer; 1 booster or declination accepted if low/equivocal)
• TB Test (negative test within past year or documentation if history of positive test)
• Health Statement (physician statement within last 12 months)
• Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer; 1 booster or declination accepted if low/equivocal)
• Tdap (valid for 10 years; declinations accepted)
• Influenza Vaccine (seasonal, Sept 1 – March 31; vaccine or facility declination accepted)

Required Background and Screening

• Background Check (within 30 days of start; includes SS trace, county searches, nationwide, sex offender)
• Adult and Child Abuse Screening (state requirement)
• Drug Screen (10 panel within 30 days of start; THC not required)
• Education Verification (third-party verification required)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM HHS/OIG Screening (within 30 days of start)
• References: 2 professional references required, including 1 supervisor
• Resume/Profile submission required
• I9 Attestation (completed)
• Other screenings and attestations as required within 30 days of start (e.g., NSO, OFAC, SING)

Additional Requirements

• Complete GRH Skills Checklist within 12 months (does not expire)
• Pre-orientation computer-based learning (CBL) acknowledgement required
• OSHA Questionnaire completion required
