RN Float
Overview
- Adult inpatient nursing resource team role on nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.
- Contract length: 13 weeks.
- Start options: 9/21 or 10/12.
- Patient age group: Adult.
- Unit size: 200 medical/surgical beds and a 26-bed Critical Care Unit.
- Level III Trauma Center.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Idaho.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- 2 years of float experience.
- Float experience within the last year.
- 2 or more years of total travel experience.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association.
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association.
- MAB or CPI.
- Driver's License.
- Experience with cardiac drips.
- Experience with non-invasive ventilation.
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience.
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience.
- CVICU experience.
Preferred
- NIHSS.
Float Scope
- May float to inpatient Adult Behavioral Health.
- May float to ED with Psych experience.
- May float to PCU.
- May float to Med/Surg.
- May float to the ED to take boarded med/surg patients.
- May float mid-shift.
- Does not float to ICU or Women’s & Children’s Units.
Other Assignment Details
- EPIC.
- Float/on-call as needed.
- Weekly orientation.
- Behavioral Health certs and classes are provided on site.
