Job Description

• Provide clinical nutritional services including nutrition assessments, education, and medical nutrition therapy for patients of all ages.
• Conduct nutrition therapy and assessments across various campuses.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate medical nutrition therapy needs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to hospital quality improvement initiatives.
• Primarily an inpatient role, with some outpatient nutrition therapy and education.
• Maintain a professional appearance and friendly attitude, upholding excellent customer relations in line with Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Credentials & Onboarding Requirements

• License/Certificate: State-specific license verification (primary source verified).
• McLeod Confirmation of Assignment: Required standard form.
• Resume/Profile: Required for submission; references preferred but not mandatory.
• Skills Checklist: Clinical skills checklist completed prior to start and updated annually.
• Immunizations/Health History:

  • MMR: Proof of 2 immunizations or titer with lab report (no declinations accepted).
  • Hepatitis B: Proof of 3 vaccinations or titer with lab report (no declinations accepted).
  • Varicella: Proof of 2 immunizations or titer with lab report (no declinations accepted).
  • 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot): Recent testing required.
• Drug Screen: 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (rapid screens not accepted).
• Driver’s License/State ID: Valid and up-to-date copy required.
• Social Security Card: Copy required.
• Criminal Background Check: Comprehensive background check within 60 days of start, covering last 7 years, updated annually.
• Employment Verification: Verification of last 5 years of employment.
