Job Opportunity: RN Labor and Delivery

Location: Florence, South Carolina
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Assess patient needs based on history, observation, physical exam, and diagnostic data.
• Provide age-specific nursing interventions consistent with plan of care and standards of practice.
• Foster a caring, compassionate, and respectful environment for patients, families, and visitors.
• Use appropriate health and safety equipment to protect patients and staff.
• Utilize standard work related to Nursing Sensitive Quality Indicators.
• Precept and mentor novice employees.
• Participate in hospital-system initiatives promoting Evidence Based Practices.
• Demonstrate professional growth through goal setting and educational participation.
• May float to assist other similar units as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Experience

• Specialty: RN Labor and Delivery
• Required years of experience: Minimum 2 years in Labor and Delivery with recent experience within the last year
• Prior travel experience: Not required.

Additional Information

• May be required to float to similar units as needed.
