Job Opportunity: Neuro Endovascular Interventional Radiology Technologist
Location: Florence, South Carolina
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Call: Emergency call coverage as scheduled
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Maintain a professional image and provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers.
- Select and utilize appropriate technical factors for Neurointerventional procedures (including NIR Bi-Plane), considering body habitus, pathology, and body parts.
- Process completed images ensuring they are of interpretable quality.
- Participate in continuing education and in-services to develop professionalism.
- Comply with all policies to deliver high-quality service.
- Perform all procedural examinations during scheduled hours and be available for call.
- Work under surgeon supervision to facilitate safe and effective invasive and non-invasive surgical procedures.
- Ensure operating room safety, proper equipment function, and conditions that maximize patient safety.
- Assist with patient draping, sterile field establishment, positioning, and prepping.
- Assist in lifting, turning, and preparing patients using proper body mechanics.
- Ensure procedure rooms are available and prepared.
- Participate in surgical site and patient verification during time-out procedures.
- Assist with room cleaning and turnover.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in South Carolina
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Recent Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT certification
- SCRQSA certification
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Valid Driver's License
