Description

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Location: Florence, South Carolina
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 06:30 AM – 02:30 PM


Job Summary

  • Provide perioperative nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting.
  • Assess patient needs through history, observation, physical exam, and diagnostic data.
  • Delegate, supervise, and evaluate team members while managing urgent or emergent situations.
  • Implement nursing interventions consistent with the Plan of Care and physician orders.
  • Prepare and position patients on the operating table and prep the operating room for procedures.
  • Complete Safe Surgery checklist verification following service excellence standards.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all care provided.
  • Use appropriate health and safety equipment, including sterile field duties.
  • Serve as communication liaison between family and operating team.
  • Participate in call schedule as assigned.
  • Assist with supply and equipment control and maintenance.
  • Demonstrate ongoing professional growth through goal setting and education.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in South Carolina
  • CVOR (2 years of experience)
  • CVOR experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Driver's License

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
