RN Labor and Delivery - Florence, South Carolina

Job Type

Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Assess patient needs using history, observation, physical exam, and diagnostic data.
Provide age-specific nursing interventions consistent with plan of care and standards of practice.
Foster a caring, compassionate, and respectful environment for patients, families, and visitors.
Use appropriate health and safety equipment to protect patients and staff.
Follow Nursing Sensitive Quality Indicators and standard work.
Precept and mentor novice employees.
Participate in hospital initiatives promoting Evidence Based Practices.
Engage in professional growth through goal setting and educational opportunities.
Float to assist other similar units as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
Labor and Delivery experience of at least 2 years, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
