Description
Radiology Technician - Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: Swing shift, inpatient side
- 4 days per week, Monday through Friday
- 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM
Required Credentials & Documentation
Professional Credentials
- MGB Badge Photo: Color photo taken within past 6 months; no selfies, no filters, plain background, symmetrical headshot, shoulders up, no eyeglasses.
- BLS Certification: AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted; AHA preferred.
- License/Certificate Verification: Primary source verification of professional license/certification within 30 days of start date; MA Conditional Licenses not accepted.
- ARRT Certification: Required.
- Criminal Background Check: Within 45 days prior to start; includes county and international searches if applicable.
- Massachusetts CORI Check: Completed within 30 days prior to start; provides criminal history for MA.
- Resume: Past 7 years of work experience with city & state.
- References: 2 recent references, at least 1 supervisor or above in skillset.
- Skills Checklist: Required.
- Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form: Required for initial assignments and extensions.
- Education Verification: Verified through background check company; highest level of education must be confirmed.
- SSN Trace: Must be run with criminal check; includes addresses/aliases for past 7 years.
- National Sex Offender Check: Within 30 days of start and updated annually.
- Exclusion Checks: Within 30 days of start and annually; includes OIG, GSA, MassHealth & NH Medicaid lists.
Personal Health History & Testing
- Fit Test (N95 Respirator): Within 365 days of start date; updated annually; no religious exemptions.
- MMR Vaccination or Immunity: Documentation of 2 measles, 2 mumps, and 1 rubella vaccine or 2 MMR vaccines, or proof of immunity via blood test.
- Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30); no exemptions.
- TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON/T-spot blood test within 3 months of start; updated if >6 month break.
- Health Statement: Physician statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start; updated if >6 month break.
- Respirator Medical Clearance (RMC) Attestation: Part of Fit Test Record; required if fit test is required.
- Optional but Preferred:
- Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity proof.
- Tdap vaccine within 10 years.
- Positive PPD requires negative chest X-ray documentation.
- TB Symptom Survey if positive PPD.
