Experience & Certification Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of recent radiology experience, including portable and OR C-arm procedures
• Prior Travel Experience: Not specified (no explicit requirement)
• Certifications Required:

  • ARRT (R) certification required
  • Valid Massachusetts Department of Public Health Radiologic Technologist License required (MA Conditional Licenses not accepted)

Skills Required

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures, including:

  • General radiography
  • Portable imaging
  • Intraoperative C-arm imaging

Health & Compliance Requirements

• Fit Test: N95 respirator fit test within 365 days of start date, updated annually
• Immunizations:

  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or proof of immunity
  • Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30)
  • TB test (skin or blood test) within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break
  • Hepatitis B vaccine or proof of immunity strongly preferred
  • Tdap vaccine preferred (within 10 years)
• Health Statement: Physician statement within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break
• Respirator Medical Clearance: Required if fit test is required for the skill

Background & Professional Requirements

• Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date, updated if >6 month break
• Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date, updated if >6 month break
• National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start date, updated annually
• Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start date, updated annually
• Social Security Number trace as part of background check
• Education verification of highest level achieved
• Resume including past 7 years of work experience (city & state required)
• Two recent references (minimum one supervisor or above in skillset)
• Skills checklist required for submission
• Candidate submission coversheet required for submission
• Confirmation of assignment/POI form required upon acceptance and for extensions

This position is ideal for a skilled Radiology Technician with at least 2 years of recent experience, ARRT certification, and a valid MA license, who is comfortable working night shifts in a fast-paced hospital radiology department.
