Job Details

• Job Title: 4x10 or 4x12 Day/Evening Rotation CST Traveler
• Contract Length: 12 weeks (standard contract)
• Start Dates Available: March 16, March 30, April 13
• Shift Options:

  • 4x10 or 4x12 hour shifts
  • Day shifts: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri), 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM (Wed)
  • Evening shifts: 1:00 PM - 11:00 PM (4x10), 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM (4x12)
  • Includes 2 weeks of night shifts per contract
  • Weekend shifts included (12-hour shifts on weekends, combined with 8 or 10 hour shifts during the same week to meet contracted hours)
• Work Environment: High capacity operating room
• Rotation Plan: Travelers will try evening shifts initially; if skills align with needs, evenings may become primary shift

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technician
• Surgical Technician experience must be within the last year

Health and Compliance Requirements

• Recent color photo (taken within past 6 months, plain background, no glasses)
• Primary source verification of professional license/certification within 30 days of start date
• N95 fit test within 365 days of start date (no onsite fit testing; must use specific form)
• Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 15), no exemptions allowed
• TB screening: skin test or blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break
• Physician health statement within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break
• Criminal background checks including Massachusetts CORI, SSN trace, national sex offender registry, and exclusion checks (all within 45 days prior to start date and updated as required)
• Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity strongly preferred
• Tdap vaccine preferred (within 10 years)
• Respirator Medical Clearance attestation required if fit test is required

Documentation and Submission Requirements

• Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
• Two professional references within 4 years (minimum one supervisor or above in skillset)
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
• Confirmation of assignment form upon acceptance and updates if start date changes
• Education verification (highest level achieved)
• Candidate submission coversheet required for initial assignment submission

Additional Notes

• If positive TB test, chest x-ray documentation showing no active tuberculosis is required
• No religious or medical exemptions for N95 fit testing or influenza vaccine
• Must comply with all health and safety protocols as outlined
