Job Opportunity: Cardiac Ultrasound Tech

Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Perform quality and complete echocardiogram studies independently and as part of a team
Maintain integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Demonstrate technical skills and sound judgment to function unsupervised
Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, customer service, organizational, and time management skills
Meet deadlines consistently

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer within the last year
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) credential required

Required Certifications and Compliance

Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Current professional license verification (no conditional licenses accepted)
N95 respirator fit test within 365 days of start date, updated annually
Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) vaccination or proof of immunity
Influenza vaccine required during flu season (no exemptions)
Tuberculosis (TB) screening within 3 months of start date, updated if break >6 months
Health statement signed by a licensed provider within 365 days of start date
Criminal background checks including state and national registries, updated as required
Documentation of work experience and education for the past 7 years
Respirator Medical Clearance attestation if fit test required

Additional Information

Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity is strongly preferred
Tdap vaccine preferred within the last 10 years
Positive TB test requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray
References: 2 within 4 years, including at least 1 supervisor-level reference
Skills checklist and candidate submission forms required for submission
