Description

Job Opportunity: Radiologist Technologist II

Location: Weymouth, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 17 weeks

Job Summary

Provide advanced clinical quality patient care while producing radiologic images used for diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include completing x-rays efficiently and maintaining high standards of patient care to ensure an excellent patient experience.

Essential Functions

Determine appropriate radiographic techniques based on anatomy and patient condition to obtain quality images.
Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures, including transporting, transferring, immobilizing, and positioning.
Explain procedures to patients considering their physical and emotional needs.
Record digital images for radiologist interpretation.
Maintain pertinent records.
Provide radiation protection according to safety standards.
Assist Radiology Technologist students and new staff with exams, sterile technique, and supply stocking.
Fluoroscopy experience (C-Arm) is required.

Required Qualifications

Valid Radiology Technician license in Massachusetts.
Minimum of 2 years of Radiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year.
Experience as an X-Ray Technician.
Fluoroscopy experience (C-Arm) required.
