Job Opportunity: X-Ray Technologist

Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

Seeking a qualified X-Ray Technologist with experience in fluoroscopy and C-ARM procedures.


Required Qualifications

  • Completion of a two-year AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program in a Joint Commission-approved facility
  • Current, unencumbered Massachusetts license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Registration by the ARRT in Radiology
  • CPR/BLS certification (AHA preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Experience with fluoroscopy and C-ARM procedures

Required Certifications and Compliance

  • BLS certification (AHA, Red Cross accepted; AHA preferred)
  • ARRT certification
  • N95 fit test within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no onsite fit testing)
  • Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity
  • Influenza vaccine required during flu season (no exemptions)
  • TB screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test), updated if break >6 months
  • Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date
  • Criminal background checks including Massachusetts CORI and national sex offender registry
  • Exclusion checks against OIG, GSA, and Medicaid exclusion lists
  • Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity is strongly preferred
  • Tdap vaccine within 10 years preferred
  • Respirator Medical Clearance attestation if fit test required

Additional Requirements

  • Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
  • Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher
  • Education verification of highest degree achieved
  • Social Security Number trace covering past 7 years of residences, employment, and schooling
  • Confirmation of assignment form required for all initial assignments and extensions

Notes

  • No prior travel experience is explicitly required for this position.
  • All vaccinations and health screenings must be documented and up to date.
  • No religious or medical exemptions allowed for flu vaccine or N95 fit testing.
