Job Opportunity: MRI Technologist

Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
• 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM (36 hours per week)

Required Qualifications

• Valid MRI Technologist license/certification (ARRT certification required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA preferred)
• N95 fit test completed within 1 year prior to start date and updated annually (no onsite fit testing)
• Documentation of required immunizations and health screenings including:

  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or proof of immunity
  • Influenza vaccine (required during flu season, no exemptions)
  • TB screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test)
  • Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 1 year of start date
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity strongly preferred
  • Tdap vaccination preferred within last 10 years
• Criminal background checks including:

  • State and national criminal background checks
  • Massachusetts CORI check
  • Sex offender registry check
  • Exclusion list checks (OIG, GSA, Medicaid)
• Verification of highest level of education achieved
• Resume including 7 years of work experience with city and state details
• Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
• Respirator Medical Clearance attestation (if fit test required)

Additional Requirements

• Primary source verification of professional license/certification within 30 days of start date
• No acceptance of conditional licenses
• Must comply with all health and safety policies, including no religious or medical exemptions for N95 fit testing and flu vaccine
• Documentation must be updated if there is a break in service longer than 6 months
• Positive TB test requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray
