Job Summary

Perform X-ray exams as ordered by urgent care providers, assist with front office and back office clinical activities, and support minor surgical procedures under provider direction. Provide expedited patient care in a high-volume urgent care setting.

Key Responsibilities

Front Office Duties:

• Open and close center using daily checklists
• Greet and assist patients and guests professionally
• Register patients in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Process payments for services

Back Office Clinical Duties:

• Room and triage patients
• Document symptoms, history, chief complaint, vital signs, and other clinical information in EMR
• Collect and process patient specimens for point-of-care tests and lab sends (e.g., rapid strep, flu, pregnancy tests, urine drug screening)
• Assist with minor surgical procedures under licensed provider supervision

Radiologic Technologist Duties:

• Prepare radiology suite, equipment, and materials
• Prepare adult and pediatric patients for X-ray studies, capture images, and document in EMR
• Clean and stage exam and procedure suites between patients
• Monitor receipt and availability of X-ray images and results
• Restock supplies and assist with training new employees
• Perform other assigned duties

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technician license in Massachusetts
• ARRT certification/license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year

10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Health and Compliance Requirements

• Documentation of immunity or vaccination for MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) required
• TB screening documentation within 3 months of start date, updated if break >6 months
• Physician health statement within 1 year of start date, updated if break >6 months
• Criminal background check, education verification, references, and other professional clearances required prior to onboarding
• Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity strongly preferred
• Additional immunizations such as Tdap preferred

Contract Length

Approximately 13 weeks
