Description
Radiology Technologist Position
Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Massachusetts
- Radiology Technologist experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
- ARRT certification
Required Onboarding Credentials and Compliance
- Completion of facility-specific self-study orientation and attestation
- Primary source verification of professional license/certification within 30 days of start date
- N95 Respirator Fit Test within 365 days of start date (no onsite testing; must use designated form)
- Respirator Medical Clearance attestation (if fit test required)
- Documentation of immunity or vaccination for:
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
- Tuberculosis (TB) test within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test)
- Physician health statement signed within 365 days of start date
- Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date, including Massachusetts CORI and national sex offender registry checks
- Verification of highest level of education achieved
- Social Security Number trace covering last 7 years
- Exclusion checks against OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid lists within 30 days of start and annually
- Submission of a detailed resume covering the past 7 years of work experience
- Two professional references within the last 4 years (minimum one supervisor-level)
- Completion of skills checklist within 1 year of submission
- Confirmation of assignment form upon acceptance and for any extensions
Optional but Preferred
- Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity
- Tdap vaccination within the last 10 years
Additional Notes
- No religious or medical exemptions allowed for N95 fit testing
- If TB test is positive, documentation of a negative chest X-ray after the positive test is required
- Background checks include international travel or residence exceeding 30 consecutive days within the last 7 years
- Name change documentation required if credential names do not match legal name

This Radiology Technologist role requires ARRT certification and a valid Massachusetts license, along with comprehensive health and background clearances.
