Description
MRI Technician - Overnight Shift
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: Approximately 26 weeks
Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
Job Description
- Perform MRI technician duties during overnight shifts on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.
- Shift hours are from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Required Qualifications
Licensure & Certifications
- Must hold a valid ARRT certification.
- Must have at least 1 year of MRI Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Must have a current professional license appropriate for an MRI Technician in Massachusetts (primary source verification required within 30 days of start date).
Health & Safety Requirements
- N95 Respirator Fit Test completed within 365 days prior to start date and updated annually (no exemptions allowed).
- Respirator Medical Clearance attestation required if fit test is needed.
- Documentation of immunity or vaccination for Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) required.
- TB screening documentation (skin test or blood test) within 3 months of start date, updated if there is a break longer than 6 months.
- Physician health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if break exceeds 6 months.
Background & Compliance Checks
- Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date, including county and international residence history for the past 7 years.
- Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date.
- National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start date, updated annually.
- Exclusion checks against OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid lists within 30 days prior to start date, updated annually.
- Social Security Number trace as part of background screening.
Documentation & Submission Requirements
- Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state.
- Two professional references within the last 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher.
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
- Candidate submission coversheet required for initial assignment.
- Confirmation of assignment/POI form required upon acceptance and for any extensions.
Additional Information
- No conditional licenses accepted.
- Fit testing cannot be performed onsite; must be completed prior to start.
- If positive TB test, documentation of a negative chest x-ray is required.
- Name change documentation required if legal name differs from credential documents.
Experience
