Description
Cardio Echo Technician
Role Overview
- Cardiac Sonographer role based in Northampton, Massachusetts.
- Day shift: 07:00 - 15:30.
- Contract length: 13 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Cardiac Sonographer experience with 5 years of experience.
- Cardiac Sonographer experience within the last year.
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- RDCS or CCI.
- Associate's degree in radiology or equivalent.
- Experience with TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiography).
- Experience with Stress echo.
Preferred
- One to three years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician.
- Knowing Epic.
- Ability to start IVs.
Clinical Setting / Equipment
- Uses Philips equipment.
- Uses Lumason for imaging agent and performs bubble studies.
- Responsible for cardiac scanning including M-Mode, 2-D, color, Doppler, exercise testing, and TEE.
