Job Opportunity: RN Cath Lab

Location: Mesquite, Texas
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) with Cath Lab experience
• Minimum Experience Required: 2 years (RN with Interventional Radiology experience preferred)
• Shift: Days (6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, flexible schedule)
• On-Call Requirement: Yes, rotating call (12-15 days per month & every other weekend)
• Charting System: Epic
• Scrubs: Any color; hospital provides scrubs

Required Certifications & Licenses

• RN License (Nursys verification required)
• BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• ACLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)

Required Exams & Screenings

• Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam (minimum 80%)
• Prime Basic Rhythm Interpretation Screening (minimum 80%)
• Prime Core Competencies Exam (minimum 80%)
• Prime Specialty Exam (minimum 80%)
• Prime Skills Checklist
• National Criminal Background Check (must be current within one year; Texas requires completion before assignment start)
• Prime Drug Screening (minimum 10-panel test including THC, within 60 days of start)
• Fit Test (annual respirator fit test, must be completed prior to start if not available onsite)

Health & Immunization Requirements

• COVID-19 Vaccine: 2 doses plus booster or documented declination
• MMR: Proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer
• Hepatitis B: Required (declinations not accepted at some locations)
• Influenza Vaccine: Required or declination (seasonal requirement)
• TB Test: Within 1 year of start date
• Varicella: Vaccination or immunity titer
• Tdap: Required (declinations not accepted at some locations)
• Positive PPD with Negative Chest X-Ray (optional)

Additional Requirements

• Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport
• Prime OIG and SAM/EPLS exclusion searches
• Prime Agency Attestation
• Prime Form I-9 (Employment eligibility verification)
• 2 Professional References (including at least 1 from a manager or direct supervisor)
• Updated Resume reflecting recent work history
• Name Verification Affidavit (if applicable for name discrepancies)
