ICU RN PRN Days

Location: Kansas City, Kansas
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM

Job Summary

Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
PRN (as needed) position in an ICU setting

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kansas
Minimum of 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, with ICU experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
Completion of Workplace Violence Prevention training (DCI/BVP)
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Documentation Required at Submission

Up-to-date resume reflecting recent work history
Two professional references (one must be from a manager or direct supervisor)

Additional Notes

Driver’s license, state ID, or passport required for onboarding
Badge photo may be requested prior to clearance (JPEG, clear headshot)
Name verification affidavit required if discrepancies exist between credentials

This position requires compliance with multiple health screenings, certifications, and competency exams to ensure readiness for ICU nursing duties.
