Registered Nurse (RN) Behavioral Health
Location: Chicago, Illinois
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 52 weeks (1 year)
Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Job Description
- Provide behavioral health nursing care during day shifts.
- Must be available to work June 11 – June 12 as part of the assignment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois.
- Minimum of 1 year of Behavioral Health nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification.
- Completion of DCI/BVP workplace violence prevention training.
- Successful completion of Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam (80%+ score).
- Successful completion of Prime Specialty Exam (80%+ score).
- Successful completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam (80%+ score).
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Required Documentation at Submission
- Up-to-date resume reflecting recent work history.
- Two professional references, including at least one from a manager or direct supervisor.
- Skills checklist.
Onboarding Requirements (Prior to Start)
- Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam (80%+ score).
- Prime Specialty Exam (80%+ score).
- Prime Core Competencies Exam (80%+ score).
- Prime Education Verification (diploma, transcripts, or third-party verification).
- Driver’s license, state ID, or passport.
- Prime OIG exclusion check.
- Prime SAM/EPLS exclusion search.
- Prime Agency Attestation (completed last after all credentials uploaded).
- Prime Badge Photo (clear headshot, JPEG format).
- Essentials Onboarding Packet completion.
- Onboarding Education Attestation (completion of required education modules).
Additional Notes
- Fit testing must be completed prior to start; no onsite fit testing available in Illinois.
- Name verification affidavit is optional if there are discrepancies between credentials.
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
