Description

Registered Nurse (RN) Labor and Delivery - Night Shift

Location: Chicago, Illinois
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Contract Length: 2 months


Job Description

  • Must be available to work the night shift starting June 11, 2026, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
  • Orientation and badge pick-up occur on June 10, 2026.
  • Must be proficient in EPIC electronic health record system.
  • Willingness to work in Stepdown unit if needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Illinois
  • Labor and Delivery nursing experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
  • Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
  • Workplace Violence Prevention training (DCI/BVP)

Additional Information

  • Must be prepared for potential strike-related scheduling on June 11-12, 2026.
  • Fit testing will not be completed onsite; must be done prior to start.
  • Orientation and onboarding requirements are strict and must be completed timely to ensure clearance.

This position is ideal for an experienced Labor and Delivery RN comfortable with night shifts, EPIC proficiency, and flexible to work in related units as needed.
