Job Details

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Certifications:
- BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- ACLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- PALS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- NRP (Active, AAP accepted, renewed every 2 years)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- Workplace violence prevention training (DCI/BVP)
Health and Safety Requirements (Must be completed prior to or at onboarding)
- COVID-19 vaccination: 2 doses plus booster or completed declination
- MMR: Proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer within last 5 years
- Hepatitis B: Record of 3 immunizations, immune titer, or declination
- Influenza vaccine or declination (required Nov 1 - Mar 31)
- Varicella: Vaccination or immunity titer within last 5 years
- Tdap vaccine (declinations not accepted in some states)
- TB test: Q-FERON within last year or 2 TB skin tests within last year
- Annual respirator fit test (3M 1860(s) mask or as directed)
- Annual glucose meter training completion
- Annual color-blind test
Professional and Compliance Requirements
- National criminal background check within one year of start date (some state-specific timing exceptions)
- Employment eligibility verification (Form I-9 or agency attestation)
- Driver’s license, state ID, or passport
- Signed current job description (within the year)
- Prime OIG exclusion check
- Prime SAM/EPLS exclusion search
- Prime agency attestation completed after all credentials uploaded
- Prime core competencies exam (minimum 80% score)
- Prime specialty exam (minimum 80% score)
- Prime skills checklist
- Workplace violence prevention training (DCI/BVP)
- Drug screening: Minimum 10-panel test including THC within 60 days of start (CA locations require additional saliva THC test)
- Physical/health statement annually, stating clearance to work

- Two professional references, including at least one from a manager or direct supervisor
