Description

Job Opportunity: RN Emergency Room

Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Work Schedule

  • Every third weekend / End of Hour (EOH)
  • Shift times: 09:00 - 21:30 or 08:00 - 20:30

Required Certifications & Licenses (Must be current and uploaded)

  • BLS (American Heart Association certification required for all direct patient care personnel)
  • ACLS (Required for RNs in ED, CCU, PACU, MICU, SICU)
  • PALS (Required for RNs in ED; ENPC certificate also acceptable)
  • TNCC
  • NIHSS (Optional but preferred)
  • Valid nursing license/certificate verification (dated within 30 days of start)

Health & Immunization Requirements

  • Fit Test
  • Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen (completed within 30 days of start; no THC)
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (proof of booster by Sept 2025, declination or exemption accepted except CA or IL)
  • MMR (proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer)
  • Hepatitis B (must have started vaccination series prior to start; titers not accepted)
  • Influenza Vaccine (proof or declination accepted except CA or IL; valid for 10/1/2024 - 4/30/2025)
  • 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) with chest x-ray if positive TB as per regional requirements
  • Varicella (proof of 1 vaccination or IgG titer)
  • Physical/Health Statement (exam within last year confirming fitness to work)
  • Tdap vaccine (current and non-expired; declination accepted if no pediatric interaction)

Professional & Compliance Requirements

  • Trinity Code of Conduct Form (signed)
  • Trinity I9 Form (completed by agency)
  • Confidentiality and System Security Agreement (signed)
  • Integrity and Audit Services Form (signed shortly before start)
  • Non-Employee Upload Form (pages 1-3 and 28 completed)
  • Specialty Specific Competency Testing (copy of specialty exam within last year)
  • Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form (signed)
  • Criminal Background Check (Federal, Nationwide, County for last 7 years; SSN verification; dated within 30 days of start)
  • Education Verification (highest academic degree or diploma/GED verified)
  • EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check dated within 30 days
  • GSA/OIG Exclusion Check dated within 30 days
  • Joint Commission CORE Exam (within last year)
  • NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days, including aliases and locations
  • System Access Form (completed and uploaded one week before start)
  • Skills Checklist (provided by agency for clinical contractors)
  • Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training (required for Iowa)
  • Iowa Sing Report (Iowa-specific criminal, sex offender, and abuse registry check within 30 days prior to start)
  • OFAC Sanctions Check (completed within 30 days of start)

Additional Notes

  • Resume, skills checklist (within one year), and two professional references required for submission.
  • All certifications and verifications must be scanned and uploaded to the credentialing system prior to onboarding.
  • Documentation must include front and back images of certification cards where applicable.
  • Compliance with all health, safety, and professional standards is mandatory for assignment start.

This position is ideal for experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses who meet the above credentialing and compliance requirements and are available for a 13-week assignment in Des Moines, Iowa.
