Job Opportunity: RN Emergency Room

Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Required Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• Valid RN License with current License/Certificate Verification

Required Training & Compliance

• Trinity Non Employee Upload Form (specific pages required)

• Trinity Skills Checklist (provided by agency for clinical contractors)
• Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training (Iowa only)
• Criminal Background Checks including Iowa's Criminal History, Sex Offender, Dependent Adult & Child Abuse Registries (must be done within 30 days prior to start)
• OFAC Sanctions Search (within 30 days of start)
• Trinity Code of Conduct Form
• Trinity I9 Employment Eligibility Verification
• Confidentiality and Information System Security Agreement
• Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form
• EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) Check
• GSA/OIG Exclusion Check
• NSO (National Sex Offender) Check
• Integrity and Audit Services Form
• Education Verification (highest level of academic education)
• Specialty Specific Competency Testing (must be completed within a year)
• System Access Form (must be completed and uploaded one week before start)
• Joint Commission CORE Exam (within a year)

Health & Immunization Requirements

• COVID-19 Vaccine (booster required by Sept 2025; declinations accepted except for CA or IL)
• Influenza Vaccine (required annually; declinations accepted except for CA or IL)
• MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or immunity proof
• Hepatitis B vaccination series (titers not accepted)
• Varicella vaccination or immunity proof
• Tdap vaccination (declinations accepted if no pediatric interaction)
• 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) Tuberculosis test (chest x-ray required if positive)
• Fit Test for Iowa (1860 mask only)
• Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work (exam within last year)
• 10 Panel Drug Screen (completed within 30 days of start)
