Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with Progressive Care Unit (PCU) specialty for a night shift travel assignment.

Required Qualifications

• License: Valid RN license in Ohio (state-specific license verification required)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in PCU or higher if specified by agency (default to highest if discrepancy)
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Vaccinations & Health Requirements:

  • COVID-19 vaccine with booster proof or approved exemption (declination not accepted in CA or IL)
  • MMR vaccination or immunity proof
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series (titers not accepted)
  • Influenza vaccine or approved exemption (declination not accepted in CA or IL)
  • Varicella vaccination or immunity proof
  • 2 Step PPD or IGRA TB test (Ohio requires 2-step PPD no older than 30 days or IGRA no older than 90 days)
  • Fit test for masks (3M brand types 1860, 1860s, 1870+, 1804, or 1804s)
• Drug Screening:

  • 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start
• Physical/Health Statement:

  • Documentation of fitness to work from exam within the last year
• Background Checks & Compliance:

  • Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background check within last 7 years
  • SSN verification
  • EPLS, OIG/GSA exclusion checks within 30 days
  • NSO (National Sex Offender) check within 30 days
  • Conflict of Interest Disclosure and Confidentiality Agreements
  • Code of Conduct and Integrity/Audit Services forms
• Professional Documentation:

  • Resume and skills checklist within the last year
  • Two professional references
  • Education verification (degree or diploma/GED)
  • Specialty-specific competency testing within the last year
  • Trinity system access form completed one week before start
• Additional Testing:

  • Trinity Joint Commission Testing (CORE exam) within the last year
  • License/certificate verification within 30 days of start

Prior Travel Experience

Summary

This is a travel RN position in the Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week contract in Ohio. Candidates must meet comprehensive vaccination, certification, licensing, and background check requirements. ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory. The role requires a valid Ohio RN license and at least 1 year of PCU nursing experience.
