Job Opportunity: Travel RN - Medical/Surgical/Telemetry

Job Details

• Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, every other week (EOW)
• Must be willing to float between two hospital locations within the system
• Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Iowa
• American Heart Association BLS certification (current)
• American Heart Association ACLS certification (current)
• Specialty-specific competency testing completed within the last year
• Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work (within last year)
• Current immunizations and health requirements including:

  • COVID-19 vaccine or approved exemption
  • MMR vaccination or immunity proof
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series initiated (titers not accepted)
  • Influenza vaccine or approved exemption (for current flu season)
  • Varicella vaccination or immunity proof
  • Tdap vaccination (declinations accepted if no pediatric interaction)
  • 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) for TB screening
• Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC)
• Fit test for respiratory protection
• Criminal background checks including federal, nationwide, county (last 7 years), sex offender, dependent adult & child abuse registries, and other required screenings within 30 days of start
• Verification of license/certification within 30 days of start (including online verification)
• Completion of required professional forms and agreements (e.g., confidentiality, code of conduct, conflict of interest)
• Trinity Health system-specific onboarding requirements including skills checklist and joint commission testing
