Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU
Location: Silvis, Illinois
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)
Holiday Rotation: Every other holiday, aligned with ICU staff holiday schedule
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting.
- Follow established protocols including Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Required Qualifications
Licensure & Certifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience within the last year.
Health & Immunizations
- COVID-19 vaccination with booster proof (or approved exemption; declination not accepted in Illinois).
- MMR: Proof of two vaccinations or immunity titer.
- Hepatitis B: Must have started vaccination series prior to start date.
- Influenza vaccine (optional but recommended).
- Varicella: Proof of vaccination or immunity titer.
- Tdap: Current vaccination or accepted declination if no pediatric interaction.
- 2-Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) for TB screening.
- Fit test for respiratory protection.
- Physical/health statement confirming fitness to work within the last year.
Background & Compliance Requirements
- Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background check covering the last 7 years, including SSN verification.
- Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC).
- Education verification: Highest academic degree or diploma verified.
- Various professional compliance forms including:
- Code of Conduct
- Conflict of Interest Disclosure
- Confidentiality and Information Security Agreement
- Integrity and Audit Services Form
- Non-Employee Upload Form
- Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training (Iowa only)
- Exclusion and sanction screenings (OIG, EPLS, OFAC, NSO).
- System access form completed and uploaded one week before start.
Additional Information
- Specialty skills checklist provided by agency.
- All license and certification verifications must be dated within 30 days of assignment start.
- Documentation must include scanned copies of certifications with front and back images.
- Drug screen must be completed and resulted before start with Medical Review Officer (MRO) signature.
- Holiday rotation follows ICU staff schedule.
