Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Medical/Surgical/Telemetry)

Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Acute Care Float Pool RN position.
Must be willing to float to all medical-surgical floors including:
- Orthopedics
- Medical-Surgical
- Neurology Step Down
- Oncology
- Surgical Telemetry
- Medical-Surgical Telemetry
Must be willing to float to an additional campus approximately 9.5 miles away.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing
Experience in Neurology nursing
Experience in Oncology nursing
Proficiency with NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Additional Information

Resume and skills checklist within the last year required for submission.
Must be willing to work flexible shifts and float across multiple specialty areas.
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.

This position is ideal for an experienced RN comfortable with a variety of medical-surgical and telemetry patient populations and flexible floating assignments.
