Description

Radiation Therapist Position - Pennsylvania, Newton

Job Summary

Administer ionizing radiation therapy to patients following the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist.
Collaborate with physicists, dosimetrists, chief therapists, and Radiation Oncologists in treatment planning and simulation.

Employment Details

Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM

Required Qualifications

Valid Radiation Therapist license in Maryland
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist, including experience within the last year
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
