Description

Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Location: Elkader, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 5:45 PM – 6:15 AM
Schedule: Every other weekend (2 weekends out of 6)

Job Description

Provide nursing care on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit.
Work evening/night shift with telemetry monitoring responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications

Valid RN license in Iowa.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.

Education

Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Experience

Minimum of 1 year of telemetry experience.
Telemetry experience within the last year.
