Description
Nuclear Medicine Technician Position - Oregon
Job Details
- Location: Ontario, Oregon
- Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Required Qualifications
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Oregon
- Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Onboarding and Compliance Requirements
- Current BLS certification card (front and back)
- State license verification dated within 30 days of start
- Specialty-specific competency testing completed within the past year
- Fit test
- 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC)
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption/declination (booster required through Sept 2025; exemption rules apply)
- Proof of MMR vaccination or immunity
- Hepatitis B vaccination series started prior to start date
- Influenza vaccine (optional)
- 2-step PPD or IGRA TB test (with chest x-ray if positive, per regional requirements)
- Proof of Varicella vaccination or immunity
- Physical/health statement confirming fitness to work (exam within last year)
Professional and Background Checks
- Signed code of conduct, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and integrity/audit forms
- Standard I-9 verification
- Motor Vehicle Report (if applicable), dated within 30 days of start
- Criminal background check covering federal, nationwide, and county records for the last 7 years, including SSN verification
- Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma
- EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) and OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion checks within 30 days of start
- Joint Commission CORE exam within the past year
- NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days of start
- System access form completed and uploaded one week before start
- Skills checklist provided and completed by agency for clinical contractors
This position is suitable for Nuclear Medicine Technicians licensed in Oregon who meet the certification and compliance requirements and are available for a 13-week weekday assignment with daytime hours.
