Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU
Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Onboarding Requirements
- Drug Screen: 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC).
- Background Checks:
- Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background check covering last 7 years.
- Social Security Number verification.
- EPLS and OIG exclusion checks within 30 days of start.
- NSO check dated within 30 days (including statewide check for Michigan).
- Professional Documentation:
- Resume and skills checklist within the last year.
- Education verification (highest degree or diploma/GED).
- Specialty-specific competency testing within the last year.
- Core Joint Commission exam within the last year.
- Compliance Forms:
- Signed Code of Conduct form.
- Confidentiality and system security agreement.
- Conflict of Interest disclosure form.
- Integrity and audit services form signed shortly before start.
- System access form completed and uploaded one week before start.
- Respirator evaluation with physician signature required.
Additional Notes
- Specialty skills checklist will be provided by the agency for clinical contractors.
- All required documents must be uploaded to the credentialing system prior to or at onboarding.
- The assignment is a long-term contract lasting approximately 13 weeks.
- Shift covers 12.5 hours, from early morning to evening.
This position is suitable for experienced RNs with PCU background who meet all licensure, certification, and health requirements and are prepared for a long-term assignment with comprehensive onboarding compliance.
