Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical/Telemetry
Location: Mason City, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Schedule: Every third weekend, every other holiday
Job Description
- Provide nursing care on Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units.
- Work a 12.5-hour shift with a rotating weekend and holiday schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- All licenses and certifications must be verified online within 30 days of start.
- Documentation must include scanned copies of certifications with front and back images.
- Specialty competency exam and skills checklist must be current (within one year).
- Agency will provide the specialty skills checklist for clinical contractors.
- Declinations for vaccines must be on agency letterhead and are not accepted in California or Illinois.
- All required forms and documentation must be uploaded to the credentialing system prior to onboarding.
This position is suitable for RNs experienced in medical/surgical and telemetry nursing seeking a 13-week long-term assignment with a structured weekend and holiday rotation.
