Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU (6 Month Long-Term Assignment)
Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Job Description
- Provide critical care nursing in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting.
- Coverage needed through holiday periods.
- Schedule includes every other week (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH).
Required Qualifications
Licensure & Certifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience.
- ICU experience must be within the last year.
Education
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Additional Information
- Agency will provide specialty skills checklist for clinical contractors.
- All required documents and certifications must be uploaded to the credentialing system prior to onboarding.
- Candidate must comply with all health, legal, and professional requirements to start assignment.
This position is ideal for experienced ICU RNs seeking a 3-month long-term assignment with comprehensive credentialing and compliance requirements.
