Cath Lab Tech Position - Michigan, Pontiac
Job Details
- Specialty: Cath Lab Technician
- Location: Pontiac, Michigan
- Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
- Shift: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM, 4 days per week with weekend rotation
- Weekend Call: 1 weekend per month plus approximately 4-5 additional days per month
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Equipment Experience Preferred: Cannon, Siemens
- Preferred Experience: Epic system experience
Requirements/Qualifications
- Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of experience
- Recent Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Certification as CVT, RCIS, ARRT, or AART with cardiology experience
Required Health & Compliance Documentation (Must be current and uploaded before start)
- COVID-19 vaccine proof including booster (or approved exemption/declination where allowed)
- MMR vaccination proof (2 doses or IgG titer lab report)
- Hepatitis B vaccination series (proof of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shots; titers not accepted)
- Influenza vaccine (optional, with declination accepted except in CA or IL)
- 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) with chest x-ray if positive TB (within last year for Michigan)
- Varicella vaccination proof (1 dose or IgG titer lab report)
- Tdap vaccine (current, non-expired; declination accepted if no pediatric interaction)
- Fit test for 1860 mask (specific to Iowa location)
- Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work (exam within last year)
- Trinity Respirator Evaluation with physician signature (for certain locations)
Required Professional & Background Checks (Must be current and uploaded before start)
- Resume and skills checklist (within last year)
- 2 professional references
- Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years) including SSN verification
- Education verification (highest degree or diploma/GED)
- EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) report dated within 30 days
- OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion check dated within 30 days
- NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days, including statewide check for Michigan
- Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form
- Confidentiality and Information System Security Agreement
- Code of Conduct Form
- Integrity and Audit Services Form (signed shortly before start)
- Joint Commission CORE Exam (within last year)
- Specialty Specific Competency Testing (within last year)
- System Access Form (completed and uploaded one week before start)
- Standard I-9 verification completed by agency
Additional Information
- Skills checklist will be provided by the agency for clinical contractors
- Drug screen: 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (including methadone, cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, benzodiazepines, and others; no THC allowed) with MRO signature required
This position requires a licensed and certified Cath Lab Technician with cardiology experience, able to work extended shifts with weekend rotations, and meet comprehensive health, compliance, and background screening requirements.
