Radiology Tech - Springfield, Massachusetts
Job Details
- Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Four 10-hour shifts, 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM
- Schedule: Evenings and every 3rd weekend
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technician license in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Onboarding and Compliance Requirements
- License/Certificate Verification: Must be dated within 30 days of start; upload state verification if available
- Fit Test: Required prior to start
- Respirator Evaluation: Physician-signed form required
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Proof of vaccine or approved declination/exemption; booster required by September 2025; declination not accepted in CA or IL
- MMR: Proof of two vaccinations or immunity titer required
- Hepatitis B: Must have started vaccination series prior to start; titers not accepted
- Influenza Vaccine: Optional but recommended; proof or declination accepted (not accepted in CA or IL)
- Tuberculosis Screening: 2-step PPD or IGRA test required; positive TB requires chest x-ray within last year for Massachusetts
- Varicella: Proof of vaccination or immunity titer required
- Physical/Health Statement: Documentation from exam within last year confirming fitness to work
- Drug Screen: 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start; no THC allowed
Professional and Background Checks
- Criminal Background Check: Federal, nationwide, and county checks for last 7 years; must be dated within 30 days of start
- Education Verification: Highest level of academic education verified; specific certifications must be provided at onboarding
- Employment and Professional Screening: Includes EPLS, OIG, NSO, OFAC checks—all must be dated within 30 days of start
- Conflict of Interest and Code of Conduct Forms: Must be signed and on file prior to start
- System Access Form: Must be completed and uploaded one week before start
- Joint Commission CORE Exam: Must be completed within the last year
Additional Notes
- Skills Checklist: Agency will provide for clinical contractors
- Resume and Professional References: Required for submission
- Massachusetts-specific: State Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) check required within 30 days of start
