Respiratory Therapist (Long-Term Assignment)

Location: Stafford Springs, Connecticut
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Connecticut
• Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

• License and certification verifications must be dated within 30 days of start.
• Specialty-specific competency testing and skills checklist must be completed within the past year.
• Background checks including federal, nationwide, county criminal checks from the last 7 years, SSN verification, and alias checks.
• Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma.
• Various professional forms and agreements including:

  • Code of Conduct
  • Confidentiality and Information Security Agreement
  • Conflict of Interest Disclosure
  • Integrity and Audit Services Form
  • Criminal Background Check
  • EPLS, GSA/OIG, NSO, OFAC screenings (all within 30 days of start)
  • System Access Form (completed and uploaded one week before start)
• Trinity Profile submission including resume, skills checklist, and two professional references.

Additional Notes

• All documentation and verifications must be uploaded to the credentialing system prior to or at onboarding.
• The assignment is a day shift position with extended hours (12.5 hours).
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this role.
