Registered Nurse (Medical/Surgical/Telemetry) - Connecticut
Job Details
- Location: Hartford, Connecticut
- Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12.5 hours)
- Hours: Approximately 36 hours per week, every other week including holidays
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Connecticut
- Minimum of 1 year of Telemetry experience, with Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Required Health and Compliance Documentation
- Fit test for respirator use
- COVID-19 vaccine proof (including booster through September 2025) or approved exemption/declination (declination not accepted in CA or IL)
- Proof of MMR vaccination or immunity
- Hepatitis B vaccination series started prior to assignment
- Influenza vaccine is optional
- 2-step PPD or IGRA TB test with chest x-ray if positive (within 1 year for CT)
- Varicella vaccination or immunity proof
- Physical exam within the last year confirming fitness to work
- 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC)
Professional and Compliance Requirements
- Signed Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, Conflict of Interest Disclosure, and Integrity/Audit Services forms
- Criminal background check covering last 7 years, including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start
- Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma/GED
- Exclusion screenings (EPLS, OIG, OFAC, NSO) dated within 30 days of start
- Specialty-specific competency testing and skills checklist completed within the last year
- System access form completed and uploaded one week before start
- Joint Commission CORE exam within the last year

- Agency will provide specialty skills checklist for clinical contractors
- All required documents must be uploaded to the credentialing system prior to onboarding
- This position involves direct patient care in medical/surgical and telemetry settings
