Labor and Delivery RN

Location: Westerville, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Shift: Night (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery unit on night shift.
• Agency staff do not have guaranteed hours and may be down staffed if operational needs are low.
• Possible reassignment to other units or care sites within the health system to maintain contracted hours.

Required Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio.
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.

Education

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year.

Health & Immunization Requirements

• COVID-19 vaccine with booster proof (or approved declination/exemption except for CA and IL).
• MMR: Proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer lab report.
• Hepatitis B: Must have started vaccination series prior to start; titers not accepted.
• Influenza vaccine: Optional but recommended.
• Varicella: Proof of 1 vaccination or IgG titer lab report.
• 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) test; positive TB requires chest x-ray within last year (or within 5 years depending on region).
• Fit test for mask (specific to Iowa).
• Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work within last year.
• 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (NO THC).

Professional & Compliance Requirements

• Resume and skills checklist within the past year.
• Two professional references.
• Signed confidentiality, conflict of interest, code of conduct, and integrity/audit forms.
• Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county) within last 7 years, including SSN verification.
• Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma/GED.
• EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) and OIG (Office of Inspector General) checks dated within past 30 days.
• NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days.
• System access form completed and uploaded one week before start.
• Trinity Core Exam and specialty-specific competency testing completed within the past year.
• Standard I-9 completed by agency.

Additional Information

• NIHSS certification is optional.
• Agency staff may be floated to other units or reassigned based on operational needs.
• All documentation must be uploaded into the vendor management system prior to onboarding.
