Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Columbus, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Schedule: 40 hours/week, weekends as needed, required on-call

Job Description

• Provide inpatient surgical nursing care in the Operating Room (OR) setting.
• Work a 40-hour week with shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Weekend work and on-call availability required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio.
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Onboarding Requirements

• Submission of a professional profile including resume, skills checklist (within one year), and two professional references.
• Completion and submission of multiple compliance and professional forms including:

  • Code of Conduct
  • I-9 verification
  • Confidentiality and security agreement
  • Integrity and audit services form
  • Conflict of interest disclosure
  • Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years, including SSN verification) dated within 30 days of start
  • Education verification (highest academic degree or diploma/GED)
  • EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) and OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion checks dated within 30 days
  • Joint Commission CORE exam within the past year
  • NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days
  • System access form completed and uploaded one week before start

Additional Information

• NIHSS certification is optional.
• Agency provides the Trinity Skills Checklist for clinical contractors.
