Job Description

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units for a travel assignment at MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

Required Credentials and Compliance

Licenses & Certifications

• Registered Nurse License (must provide online verification dated within 30 days of start)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Association certification required for all direct patient care personnel.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - Required for RNs working in CCU, ED, PACU, MICU, SICU.
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
• Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing - Specialty exam must be completed within the last year.
• Trinity Skills Checklist - Provided by agency for clinical contractors.

Background & Screening

• Iowa's Criminal History, Sex Offender, Dependent Adult & Child Abuse Registries check (must be completed within 30 days prior to start)
• Trinity 9 Panel Drug Screen (completed within 30 days of start, includes multiple substances; no THC)
• Federal, Nationwide, County Criminal Background Check (last 7 years, including SSN verification)
• Trinity EPLS (Excluded Parties List System)
• Trinity GSA/OIG Exclusion Check
• Trinity NSO (National Sex Offender) Check
• Trinity IA Sing Report (Iowa-specific screening)
• Trinity OFAC Sanctions Check (within 30 days of start)

Health & Immunizations

• COVID-19 Vaccine - Proof of vaccine, booster, declination, or exemption required.
• MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) - Proof of two vaccinations or immunity titer.
• Hepatitis B - Proof of vaccination series required (titers not accepted).
• Influenza Vaccine - Recommended (optional), for flu season 10/1/2024 - 4/30/2025.
• Varicella - Proof of vaccination or immunity.
• 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) - Tuberculosis screening.
• Physical/Health Statement - Documentation from exam within the last year confirming fitness to work.
• Fit Test - Required personal health history screening.
• Trinity Color Vision Test
