Description

Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Travel Position

Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel

Position Summary

Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures as requested by physicians.
Provide patient care while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by Radiologist/Cardiologist.

Schedule & Requirements

Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Start Date: 9/22/2025
Weekend Requirement: Yes
On Call Requirement: 10 out of 12 days per month (includes weekends)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Qualifications

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program

Certifications/Licenses (Required)

ARRT certification applicable to cardiac or vascular intervention (CV, CI, or VI) or RCIS certification
New Mexico State licensure
BLS certification
ACLS certification

Experience

Minimum 1 year radiologic experience required
Preferred: 1 year interventional or cath lab experience
Must have IR lab experience

Skills

Thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment, neurological and cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, radiographic positioning, medical terminology, and basic computer skills
Preferred knowledge of interventional procedures in Cardiology and Radiology
Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, various body fluids, and ionizing radiation
Clean, well-lighted, ventilated, smoke-free environment
Subject to stressful professional relationships
Flexible working hours due to unexpected schedule changes and emergencies
Physical ability to lift, position, push, and/or transfer patients and equipment over 50 lbs
