Job Opportunity: RN Cath Lab
Location: Dover, New Hampshire
Facility: Wentworth-Douglass Hospital
Hospital System: Mass General Brigham
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- 4x10 hour shifts, 07:00 - 17:30 with a rotating day off
- Monday to Friday call and weekend call
- Minimum of 10-12 total call days per month
Requirements
- RN license (New Hampshire or Compact)
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Must live more than 50 miles from Dover, NH
Certifications & Licenses
- RN License: NH or Compact license accepted. Emergency NH license application recommended within 48 hours if applying for NH license.
- BLS: AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military certification accepted (AHA preferred).
- ACLS: AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military certification accepted (AHA preferred).
- License Verification: Primary source verification required within 30 days of start date. MA Conditional Licenses not accepted. Both NURSYS and BON verification required for nursing licenses.
Health & Safety Requirements
- Fit Test: N95 respirator fit test within 365 days of start date, updated annually. Must be completed offsite using the MGB N95 Respirator Fit Test Record Form. No religious exemptions.
- TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON/T-spot blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break.
- MMR: Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine or two MMR vaccines, or proof of immunity via blood test.
- Health Statement: Physician statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break.
- Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30). No exemptions allowed.
- Hepatitis B: Strongly preferred (3 vaccines or proof of immunity or declination).
- Tdap: Preferred within last 10 years.
- Respirator Medical Clearance: Attestation required as part of fit test process.
Background & Professional Checks
- Criminal Background Check: Within 45 days prior to start, updated if >6 month break (Wentworth-Douglass requires update if >30 day break). Includes county and international searches.
- National Sex Offender Check: Within 30 days of start, updated annually.
- Exclusion Checks: Within 30 days of start and annually. Includes OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid exclusion lists.
- New Hampshire State Checks: Two separate checks within 30 days prior to start and updated if >30 day break: NH Criminal Background and NH BEAS record check.
- SSN Trace: Must be run with criminal check covering last 7 years of addresses and aliases.
- Education Verification: Verified through background check company, confirming highest level of education.

- Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
- Two recent references (minimum one supervisor or above in skillset)

Additional Notes
- No fit testing (initial or updates) can be done onsite at any location except limited exceptions for assignment extensions on Martha’s Vineyard & Nantucket.
- No religious exemptions for fit testing or influenza vaccine.
- Must comply with all credentialing and onboarding requirements prior to start date.
This position is ideal for experienced RN Cath Lab nurses seeking a 13-week assignment with a reputable hospital system in New Hampshire.
